Information Technology (IT)

Information technology (IT) refers to a company’s networks, hardware, software, and data storage and the management systems that apply to them. It may be a simple or very complex system, it all depends on what you do with them. Some small businesses manage their own IT systems. Others hire a managed service provider (MSP) to handle the setup and ongoing maintenance, either on a scheduled or as-needed basis. Managers must be aware that the information technology field is fast changing and that it can present both opportunities and threats to a business; investigating and considering the impact of newly emerging technologies in both the near and longer term.

Advanced Manufacturing Technology

Advanced manufacturing technology involves the use of innovative technology to improve products or processes that drive revolution. It covers two types of technologies: process technology that is used to produce any of other advanced technologies, and process technology that is based on robotics, automation technology, or computer-integrated manufacturing. For the former, such process technology typically relates to production apparatus, equipment, and procedures for the manufacture of specific materials and components. For the latter, process technology includes measuring, controlling, and testing devices for machines, machine tools, and various areas of automated or IT-based manufacturing technology.

Industrial Technology

Whether you are looking for a single part or a Turn-Key project, Industrial technology is playing an important role in improving the productivity, profitability, and safety of industrial processes through the application of engineering and manufacturing technology. Types of industrial technology include chemical, mechanical, and electrical processes that aid in production.

Space Science & Technology

Space Science & Technology is very important to our daily life either you send Rocket to the moon or grandma navigating her grandchildren on earth by sitting on her desk. Space technologies are essential to support our national needs.

Contributing to the economic well-being of our country, space assets serve Canadians and government departments by strengthening our national sovereignty, safety, security, resource management, and environmental monitoring capabilities. The Canadian space sector has established a world-class reputation in many areas, including in Earth observation, space robotics, space science and exploration, and satellite communications; and continues to innovate into emerging capabilities.

Aerospace & Defense

The aerospace and defense market consists of aircraft, weapons, and military equipment. The aerospace industry is involved in developing and manufacturing or assembling complete aircraft, and aircraft parts for commercial purposes while weapons and military equipment deal with defense purposes. The global aerospace & defense market size is $755.24 billion in 2022. Canada remains one of the world’s largest aerospace markets. Read more…

Defence and Military Equipment

According to Innovation, Science, and Economic Development (ISED) in partnership with the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI), the Canadian defense industry contributed close to US$7.12 billion in GDP and 78,000 jobs across Canada’s economy in 2020.  Of the economic contribution reported, US$5.26 billion is directly attributed to the defense industry and value chain.  In general, the total economic contribution by the sector to Canada’s economy between 2018 and 2020, increased by close to US$1.7 billion in GDP, and 13, 900 jobs.  The Canadian government is the industry’s single largest customer of defense products and services, accounting for 72 percent of the industry’s domestic revenues; while in the context of the Five-Eyes partnership, the United States, at 49.1 percent, represents Canada’s top defense export market.

Natural Gas Fixed Price Program. Canada and USA only

Recently, the Régie d’Énergie du Québec issued Decision D-2003-180, approving a fixed-price supply service for customers consuming between 7,500 and 1,168,000 cubic meters per year. The decision met customers’ expectations. Fixed-price service options and financial derivatives can help shield customers from the eventualities of price volatility and high prices for natural gas. The main objective of the fixed-price service is budget stability, not savings. This service is offered to customers, like you, who consume a minimum of 7,500 m³ and a maximum of 1,168,000 m³ per year.

The journey of natural gas from Alberta to Québec involves traversing the country through a network of pipelines. The gas is initially gathered at its source and then compressed within underground pipelines, functioning as pathways for natural gas transportation. This extensive journey across Canada takes approximately 4 days at a speed of 40 km/h. By multiplying the duration (96 hours) by the speed (40 km/h), the distance covered amounts to 3,840 km, ultimately reaching Québec.

To determine your yearly consumption, refer to your Energir invoice. If your usage falls within the range of 7,500 m³ to 1,168,000 m³ per annum, feel free to reach out to us to enroll in this program or for more information. Email: iinfo@HiTechCanada.Ca Tel: (514) 489-5267
